Specializing in home heating and bulk propane, Provanta Inc was originally part of RN Goss Gas Products, founded in 1934 in Oil City, PA. In the mid 1990s, Provanta separated from Goss Gas as the residential propane division.
Provanta serves most of Western Pennsylvania distributing propane to commercial and residential customers.
As customer needs change, so does our way of doing business. Provanta recently launched hand-held technology via cell phone that can read customer tanks within range to know and anticipate their propane needs.
Further, with an eye toward sustainability, Provanta is becoming a green fleet using its own propane to fuel its delivery trucks.
